11-1-05- 12-31-05 In this issue: November in Tokyo. 2 concerts at the Ikspiari Club and one in Yokohama’s Motion Blue Club. Back in NY for shows at The Kitano Hotel. Appearances on "The Apprentice". December brought The Kennedy Center Honors 2005 with Robert Redford, Tina Turner, Tony Bennett, Julie Harris and Suzanne Farrell. Performances with  Beyonce, Melissa Etheridge, Vanessa Williams, Al Green and Queen Latifah. 2005 went out with more sessions for Goh Hotoda commercials (V8, Herbal Essence with Tony V.) and a new Podcast for 441 Records. Body & Soul is in heavy rotation on smooth Jazz stations but there is no product available outside Japan.

8-30-05 - 9-30-05 In this issueMore gigs with Golub and Warren Hill at Sculler’s in Boston More sessions for Naomi Striemer and Narada Michael Walden. TV commercials for my friend Tony Verderosa: Clairol, V8. Vacation…Nice France. More “Trojan” commercial…with Kelli Sae on vocals, September: sessions for a Chase Bank commercial. I arranged the theme for “I Dream of Genie, One last session for Rod Stewart, the day BEFORE J Records ship the album.

6-10-05 In this issue: Welcome to the Valerian Studio Newsletter. 6-10-05. In this issue January, we started recording the new trio record with David Finck, Scooter Warner and Goh Hotoda co-producing and mixing. I worked on a record with Japanese artist Nokko called “Inventions & Sinfonias”In February, I played on my dear friend Marc Antoine’s album  I played on a couple of gigs with Jeff Golub’s band at the Metropolitan Café and the Berke Jazz Festival.  I did a stint on the new Rod Stewart album (Great American Songbook IV!) In April, the trio was back again at the New York Kitano Hotel.
